ORANGE PEEL : GRS Motorsports 1st Annual Street Import Shootout!

The 1st Annual Street Import Shootout presented by GRS-Motorsports.com and hosted by Orlando Speed World was awesome!!!  A new World Record was had by Team New Generation’s “Major League” RX8 blasting the 1/4 in 6.190 @ 224.77 mph taking back the 20B Rotary title!  Top Honors and $10k went to Damon Chin in his spectacular 2JZ powered Celica.  Repping Rosado Racing his consistency and back to back personal best times saw him knock out El Jerry in the Final!!!  At 6.24 @ 226 mph Damon is piloting his monster like no other.  The All Motor and Honda Classes also had tight racing all day with some of the fastest K and B series powered machines tearing it up.  We hope you enjoy our pictures and don’t forget to give us a call for all of your JDM Engine and Drivetrain needs. ORANGE PEEL : 19th Annual Haltech World Cup Finals – 2014 Day 3 Eliminations!!!!!!

Here it is – Day 3 – ELIMINATIONS of the 2014 Haltech World Cup Finals!!!  All of the hard work and perseverance pays off as qualifiers battle it out for top prizes and bragging rights!!  The Domestics were coming on strong through out the day and held on into the night to clinch most of the class victories.  Imports won only 1 Class Victory thanks to a hard charging Honda.  Congrats to the winners and be sure to check our Day 1 and Day 2 links with hundreds of pictures!!!! In addition to the incredible racing, Day 3 of the Haltech World Cup Finals pleased the fans with a very nice car show keeping true to the Import vs Domestic battle.  Classic muscle went up against JDM technology and there were many beautiful vehicles on display!  There was also a Bikini Contest hosted by the lovely Jessica Barton however we only captured a few images as we were focused on the races.  Congrats to the stunning Angelina Peralta for winning in the freezing cold!!!  Thanks again for visiting our site and be sure to check out  our Day 1 , Day 2 and Day 3 Finals Image Galleries!

ORANGE PEEL : 19th Annual Haltech World Cup Finals – 2014 Day 2

Day 2  of the Haltech World Cup Finals was non stop racing as hundreds of racers fought to stay in their classes during this all day qualifying session.  A few highlights were of course the specatular MIR crew that kept the track clean and safe, record breaking E/T’s from the Outlaw Vs Extreme class, a slew of crazy fast Volkswagens , and Jessica Barton along with her WCF Girls to hype the crowd.  The Hondas were out in full force proving to be some of the tightest and most consistent racing all day.  Be sure to check our Day 1 coverage which was posted yesterday.  Tomorrow we will have the coverage of the Main Event : Sunday – Day 3 Finals of Eliminations and the Car Show + Bikini Contest!

The 19th Annual Haltech World Cup Finals has come and gone and like always – it was a spectacle of sheer speed and power.  Records were set on the national and world level for 2JZ and Rotary power – live and in the midst of battle!!! American power dominated this year with Mustangs and Corvettes proving that reliability over the 3 day event would trump Import record E/T’s and Trap Speeds! This set of pictures is from Friday – Day 1 of Qualifying. ORANGE PEEL : 2015 Civic Type R Version 2 Prototype is best R model ever!

Honda has an updated version 2 prototype 4 door variant of the 2015 Civic Type R circling the autoshow circuit and they have released some details describing the most extreme and capable R version yet!  It will be so extreme that it will not come to the USA!  Extreeeeeeeeeeme!  Your better off going on a mission with harold and kumar to get some some burgers than trying to pick up one of these fire hot hatches.  For the rest of the world, the production version of this sports machine with 276 turbocharged hp will soon be available.  Active dampers as well as adjustable steering axis with R mode ECU settings will allow this car to transform its entire demeanor with even more track focus!  Awesome.

ORANGE PEEL : 1st Annual International Curry Cook Off & Car Show – DRAGint Rollin’ Deep

The 1st Annual International Curry Cook Off was a blast!  The rain could not stop the party, the food and music kept it pumpin’.  The food vendors served up the tastiest food of the West Indies.  Our good friend DJ Chris of Bacchanal Radio put on the car show and we helped out with 11 entries!  We took home 6 prizes including Best of Show with our race car S15 RB26.  The night time Anti Lag Flame Show may have helped that decision :-).  Thanks for visiting, enjoy the pics.

Built as the street version to our all out S15 Race Car, this S14 follows our basic principles for the ultimate cruiser : Fresh Looks, Big Power and of course Reliability!  We have transformed this 1998 Kouki 240SX into a show stopper with a gleaming custom red paint job inside and out.  The Drivetrain has been upgraded to complete GTR Skyline spec at over 680 HP.  It is powered by a fully customized and built Twin Turbo RB26 with R33 GTR Brembo Brakes as well as R34 GTR LSD Differential.  The suspension, wheels and interior have also been upgraded to match the power potential of this RWD Godzilla.  Check it out!

ORANGE PEEL : Nurotag Miami Homecoming 08.2014 – So Fla Favorites

We visited the Nurotag Miami Car Show – Homecoming 08.2014. It was a great arrangement of music, models and rides. Hosted at the Miami Airport Convention Center, the venue provided a comfortable indoor atmosphere for the crowd throughout the afternoon. Some of the most customized rides in So Fla were featured by crews as well as vendors.  Authentic RHD Japanese muscle courtesy of Soho Imports, the R31 Ironmask and AE86 Levin battled stanced luxury from BMW, Infiniti, Lexus and Mercedes.  Here are some pics – enjoy!

ORANGE PEEL : SUPRA 6 SPEED 3.2L 88MM – 1342 HP Dyno Thrashing!

Here it is!  Our Baltic Blue Beast smashes the STP Motorsports Dyno with 1342 HP!  In fact we made multiple 1300+ HP pulls to get the tune just right.  2JZPower.com lists our Supra as the 10th most powerful 2JZ setup in the country!  Reliability was also priority on this setup for easy strip and street use.  A Built 3.2L 2JZ with Precision Turbo 88mm / Hypertune Intake / Full Race Manifold transfers power through the tried and true V160 6 Speed and TRD LSD.  An RPS Billet Carbon Triple Clutch holds the power with comfortable pedal effort.  Tuned by Lance, the AEM V2 is working flawlessly and this car operates almost as smoth as stock!  This vehicle is available for purchase – please call for more info.
