That Racing Channel‘s first ever Street Kings was a new level of performance automotive event with sanctioned type of Roll Racing and Drag Racing to keep the odds fair and the racing close! In addition there was a full 2 Days of Drifting on skid pad as well as road course for the slideways lovers!!! South Florida is seeing a resurgence of events at PBIR as enthusiasts look to take it to the track. We raced the S3000 with our DRAGint spec 3.2L 2JZ to a #1 Qualifier Position with a 7.27 Pass (Fastest Pass of the Event) however we decided not to continue once there was a small rain delay to keep Larry and the car safe. Big up to the whole crew that came out to support us! We are looking forward to the next installment of the TRC Street Kings Series on our quest for our first 6sec pass!

After spending some time back home in Trinidad, the D&D R32 GTR with 2JZ Power built by DRAGint returns to the South Florida for a host of upgrades aimed at increasing power as well as longevity. With a goal of 7.2 sec 1/4 Mile the chassis is more than capable of handling this speed so more power is on the menu. Air and Fuel were the main modifications to the car to increase velocity and volume as well as to lower temps and operate within more safe parameters. For increased engine longevity we also switched from Aluminum Rods to steel Manley Turbo Tuff connecting rods as they have proven extremely reliable!

Here it is – Day 3 – ELIMINATIONS of the 2014 Haltech World Cup Finals!!! All of the hard work and perseverance pays off as qualifiers battle it out for top prizes and bragging rights!! The Domestics were coming on strong through out the day and held on into the night to clinch most of the class victories. Imports won only 1 Class Victory thanks to a hard charging Honda. In addition to the incredible racing, Day 3 of the Haltech World Cup Finals pleased the fans with a very nice car show keeping true to the Import vs Domestic battle. Classic muscle went up against JDM technology and there were many beautiful vehicles on display! There was also a Bikini Contest hosted by the lovely Jessica Barton however we only captured a few images as we were focused on the races. Day 2 of the Haltech World Cup Finals was non stop racing as hundreds of racers fought to stay in their classes during this all day qualifying session. A few highlights were of course the specatular MIR crew that kept the track clean and safe, record breaking E/T’s from the Outlaw Vs Extreme class, a slew of crazy fast Volkswagens , and Jessica Barton along with her WCF Girls to hype the crowd. The Hondas were out in full force proving to be some of the tightest and most consistent racing all day. Be sure to check our Day 1 coverage which was posted yesterday. The 19th Annual Haltech World Cup Finals has come and gone and like always – it was a spectacle of sheer speed and power. Records were set on the national and world level for 2JZ and Rotary power – live and in the midst of battle!!! American power dominated this year with Mustangs and Corvettes proving that reliability over the 3 day event would trump Import record E/T’s and Trap Speeds!
